ANAHEIM, Calif. — Saline Pest Control, Taylor, Ariz. will be merging with Western Exterminator Company on Sept 1.
Western has been servicing a portion of the Flagstaff area from its Phoenix locations, but through the merger with Saline, Western is officially moving into the northeastern Arizona marketplace. Along with the opening of its 35th Service Center, Western now has a stronger foothold in the Flagstaff area.
Although most people think of Arizona as desert, at 7,000 feet elevation Flagstaff is located in the largest contiguous ponderosa pine forest in the world, which of course means winter snow. Summer or winter, Western has plenty of local experience with various climate areas, serving all of the desert areas of California, Arizona and Nevada, along with the snow areas of Lake Tahoe and numerous California mountain communities.
Don Saline, the former owner, will be staying on as Western's Service Center Manager, and his entire team is looking forward to being part of Western's 90-year family owned company. Says Western's President Michael Katz, "We were looking for a way to expland in Arizona, and Saline is a great fit with Western. We are really looking forward to this new venture and the addition of Don Saline and his team."
