PARSIPPANY, NJ – The team at Western Pest Services took some time out of their busy summer to connect with the communities they serve.
Western has had a relationship with the Family Promise of Morris County for many years. It came to the company’s attention that there was a need for guest bags for both adults and children to help during a transition. Whether it is assisting with a school supply drive with Metuchen Gives Back, or taking lunch to the local fire station in NYC, or making laundry detergent for a women’s shelter the company was grateful to give back this summer.
“We consider the connections we have with the organizations that are helping those in need to be some of the most important connections we have,” said Pat Porcella, region manager of Western Pest Services. “Showing our new employees that we have a commitment to give back to those in need is just one of the ways that we live our values. Just by carving out a few minutes during meetings or trainings, we are showing our employees that we do what we say we are going to do. It’s great to work for an organization that has these values, and there is certainly not a shortage of organizations that could use some support.”
