PARSIPPANY, N.J. — As part of its commitment to the community and keeping front line workers safe, Western Pest Services provided the Talleyville Fire Company with a free Western PurClean service on Wednesday, June 17. The Talleyville Fire Company has been serving Talleyville’s residents since 1928.
Western Pest Services recently added its Western PurClean disinfection service, a treatment to help homes and businesses kill a large spectrum of pathogens and help stop the spread of viruses. High-touched surfaces such as doorknobs, countertops, and seating areas are common places where viruses linger and can rapidly cause spread from there. With commonly shared equipment such as fire trucks and break areas, these risks can increase for first responders.
“Fire fighters, considered essential service workers, did not have a work from home option when Covid-19 hit,” said Jack Russell, senior account manager at Western Pest Services. “Since their duties carried on, donating a disinfection service provided first responders the peace of mind needed to continue to serve their community during this unprecedented time. We feel honored to have been trusted by the team at Talleyville Fire Company.”
