Whimire Micro-Gen Offers MotherEarth Line of Products

ST. LOUIS, MO – Whitmire Micro-Gen’s new MotherEarth family of products feature active ingredients that are derived directly from Mother Earth. Using these active ingredients, Whitmire Micro-Gen has created effective new aerosol, bait and dust products.

“There are an increasing number of customers who – for a variety of reasons – may prefer this type of treatment approach,” says Marketing Manager Nick Tresslar. “When PMPs have a variety of treatment options for customers, it increases the likelihood that they have a solution for every account, which creates business opportunities.”

The MotherEarth line currently consists of four primary products:

• MotherEarth 2% Py Contact Insecticide is a fast-acting pyrethrum aerosol for quick kill of crawling and flying insects. Its active ingredient, pyrethrin, is derived from chrysanthemum flowers and has no synthetic synergists. The product is quick drying and offers excellent flushing. Its small particle size is ideal for flying insect control.

• MotherEarth Granular Scatter Bait is a long-lasting granular scatter bait for the treatment of ants, cockroaches, crickets and other occasional invaders. Its attractive bait matrix offers broad-spectrum control and its boric acid granules provide long-lasting protection. MotherEarth Granular Scatter Bait is OMRI (Organic Material Review Institute) Listed™ and uses the active ingredient boric acid which is mined straight from Mother Earth. It is an excellent choice for preventative treatments or curative treatments.

• MotherEarth™ D Pest Control Dust is a broad spectrum desiccant dust that is effective against a wide range of crawling insects, including cockroaches, ants, earwigs, fleas, mites, spiders and other crawling insects. MotherEarth D is OMRI Listed™ and is labeled for both indoor and outdoor use.

• MotherEarth D consists of 100 percent diatomaceous earth which was created by freshwater diatoms. This high purity dust has a large pore volume weight ratio and high absorbent properties resulting in outstanding efficacy. It applies evenly in cracks, crevices and voids, and can be used in commercial areas, homes, food handling accounts and institutional areas and schools.

• MotherEarth Wasp and Hornet Jet Spray is a pressurized jet spray that is specifically formulated to provide quick knockdown of wasps and hornets. Its active ingredient is d-limonene, a botanical insecticide extracted from citrus peels, which provides instant knockdown. The spray can travel 10 feet and has a pleasant citrus odor, making it ideal for many types of accounts.
