DENVER - Whitmore Pest and Wildlife Control announced its participation in the Colorado Pest Control Association (CPCA) Pest Vets coat drive, an initiative dedicated to collecting warm weather gear for homeless veterans. Demonstrating a commitment to community and national heroes, the company went beyond just encouraging employee donations, actively involving their customer base in this noble cause.
One such customer, Elaine Love, expressed her heartfelt support for the initiative: "It is my honor to join Whitmore Pest Control in honoring and supporting our veterans. Without the service and dedication of our veterans, we would not have the freedoms and opportunity we enjoy in this great country of ours. My donation of warm coats and warm boots is only a small contribution in comparison to the sacrifice of our veterans. The gratitude goes to our veterans."
Inspired by the overwhelming support and contributions received from their employees and customers, Whitmore Pest and Wildlife Control is taking its commitment a step further. The company is offering complimentary pest and/or rodent control services to a non-profit organization in the Denver metro area that serves homeless veterans. This could include a soup kitchen, homeless shelter, or food pantry.
"Recognizing the challenging circumstances faced by the homeless, we believe our expertise in pest and rodent control can play a vital role in safeguarding their food and shelter," said Richard Christner, coowner. "We are eager to contribute and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need."
