SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — Wil-Kil Pest Control announced four of its pest control experts — Jason Freels, regional manager at the Chippewa Falls, Wis. location and Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin technicians Paul Becker, Tyler Bessa and Rick Schoening — earned the Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) certificate from the Entomological Society of America (ESA) Certification Corporation. This highly recognized certification program is endorsed by the National Pest Management Association (NPMA).
“Congratulations to Paul, Tyler, Jason and Rick for becoming ACE certified. This is an important designation within our industry that recognizes their experience and pest management knowledge,” said Shane McCoy, director of quality and technical training at Wil-Kil Pest Control. “We thank them for their professionalism and hard work in earning the certification, and for their commitment to our company and our clients.”
The ACE certificate is available for pest control professionals with a minimum of five years of experience and a current U.S. pesticide applicator’s license. Applicants must also pass an exam on structural pest control knowledge, including inspection and identification, monitoring, selection and implementation of control methods and evaluation, as well as provide two letters of professional recommendation.
