AUSTIN, Texas – Univar USA announced the winners of the 2009 "Go to The Masters with MasterLine" promotion.
The 2009 promotion was launched at the 2008 PestWorld convention in Washington, D.C, in October, and ended on March 7, 2009. In that time, Univar collected close to 18,000 registrations that qualified for the drawing. To add to the fun, the company also posted a “Go to The Masters with MasterLine” interactive card game on the MasterLine.com Web site. The game has gained in popularity since its launch in October 2008.
The contest, which was originally launched in 2007-2008, was brought back for a second year due to its overwhelming success, Univar said.
One Grand Prize Winner and five second place winners were selected in a random drawing on March 16, 2009.
Bryan Cooksey Jr., of McCall Services Inc., Jacksonville, Fla., is the Grand Prize winner. As the winner, Cooksey and a guest will spend the weekend in Atlanta and attend the championship round of The Masters 2009 golf tournament in Augusta, Ga.
Second place winners include:
- Dale Nesbit of Mountain Pest Control in Glenwood Springs, Colo.
- Gerardo Montalvo of All County Exterminators in Miami, Fla.
- Jeff Schumacher of All Safe Pest Control in Plano, Texas
- Joseph Laurenzano of Berry's Pest Control in El Dorado Hills, Calif.; and
- Tom Wisdo of Impact Pest Management in Tarpon Springs, Fla.
Each of the second place winners will receive a $250 credit towards the purchase of MasterLine products from Univar.
