Wisconsin Pest Control Association Holds Annual Conference

The Wisconsin Pest Control Association's annual conference, titled Progress in Pest Management Update 2007, was attended by 128 people from the pest control industry.

WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis - Two days at Kalahari Waterpark were only part of the fun had at this year's Wisconsin Pest Control Association's annual conference. The event, Progress in Pest Management Update 2007, was attended by 128 people from the pest control industry.

Companies were represented from Missouri, Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin and speakers included: Mike Rottler, president of Rottler Pest Solutions; business professor Dennis Collins from Edgewood College; and UW-Madison's Phil Pellitteri; and others.

Also voted on at this year's conference was the 2007 WPCA Board of Directors. Brent Towle, Spectrum Pest Control, will remain as this year's president while Michael Poja of Ecolab will be vice president. Two new members were voted onto the Board, including Will White of Nexus Pest Solutions and Pete Schopen of Schopen Pest Solutions. Rounding out the voting body for 2007 are Rick Frye (Professional Pest Control)-Treasurer, Doug Blume (Arrow Pest Control)-Secretary, Jerry Batzner (Batzner Pest Control), Mark Mumm (Orkin), Darrel Werner (Werner Pest and Odor Control Services), Randy Allen (Wil-Kil)-Past President, Andrew Richards (A-Z Pest Control), Tom Kofler (Final Hour Pest Control), Todd Radloff (Premier Pest Elimination) and John Forbes (Univar)-Vendor Rep.
