WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. – The Wisconsin Chapter of Professional Women in Pest Management (PWIPM) sponsored a supply drive for the Hope House of South-Central Wisconsin during the Wisconsin Pest Control Association’s (WPCA) Midwest PestCon Conference, Feb. 7-8.

Donations came in from attendees across the state. When asked about the supply drive, Wisconsin PWIPM Chair Breanna Neerland of Kwik Kill Pest Control said, “Our chapter is small and just starting to gain traction, but that doesn’t mean we can’t leave an impact on the communities in our state. We’re happy to support the Hope House and look forward to making more donations in the future.”

Donated items included items off the Hope House’s wish list, such as bottled water, clothing, cleaning supplies and food. Outside of the supply drive, the Wisconsin Chapter of PWIPM also held a meet and greet following the conference, so women could network, learn from each other, and build relationships with others in the industry.

The Wisconsin Chapter of PWIPM was established just over a year ago. Since then, the chapter has been growing in numbers under the leadership of Neerland and Vice Chair, Janice Crisostomo, of Terminix. Neerland and Crisostomo hope to build partnerships with not only PMPs in the state, but also women and girls in the community to encourage interest in this growing industry.
