Xterminator Pro Now Part of Aegis Insurance

ORLANDO, Fla. — K2 Insurance Services announced that pest control insurance provider Xterminator Pro is now a division of its subsidiary, Aegis General Insurance Agency. The acquisition of Xterminator Pro from Skyward Specialty Insurance allows access to Skyward’s insurance carriers, policies, forms and endorsements for three years and for all current lines of business.

Xterminator Pro will continue to offer general liability, workers compensation, commercial auto, commercial property, excess, island marine, crime and employment practice liability insurance to protect the business needs of pest management professionals and provide a single source of insurance coverages to the brokers who serve them.

Skyward’s underwriting professionals will transition to Xterminator Pro, ensuring continuity of account services. The Xterminator Pro team will bring its comprehensive knowledge of the coverages and exposures of the pest profession and maintain its established relationships with its insureds and the brokers serving them. 

Billy Craft moves from Skyward to Xterminator Pro as president of the division, which will remain based in Orlando, Fla. He served as vice president of the Skyward X-Pro pest control division before the K2 acquisition and has been with the carrier since 2010.

Craft brings a lengthy tenure of agency, managing general agent marketing and management experience, most of which is in the pest control industry. He also has experience in the technology and communications sectors.

Allen Fugler will maintain his role as director of risk management, working with insureds on regulatory compliance, employee training, file documentation and risk mitigation. His 29-year career in pest management includes stints in pest trade association management and with insurance programs dedicated to pest management professionals. He is a credential pest professional with an Occupational Safety and Health Administration certification.
