OSSETT, U.K. — Killgerm Group announced the retirement of Per Nilsson, founder and former managing director of Milluck AB which became Killgerm Scandinavia AB.

In 2007 Nilsson set up Milluck AB as a brand-new operation, focused on the supply of professional pest control products to service companies throughout Scandinavia. Killgerm Group was a key supporter of Nilsson and that partnership continued for the next 12 years while Milluck AB was a stand-alone operation before its acquisition into the Killgerm Group in 2019, where it was then rebranded as Killgerm Scandinavia AB.

At the time of the acquisition, the expectation was that Nilsson would continue working for maybe two years and then retire, instead he stayed for seven.

“Joining the Killgerm family was a natural step for me and gave a clear path forward for the business I had founded,” he said “I was made so welcome and I was given every support I needed. Why would I have wanted to leave any earlier?”

Nilsson has helped to implement a transition of leadership for Killgerm Scandinavia, which led to the appointment of Martin Nilsson as the new managing director in September 2024.

“I have known Nilsson for all of my time in the pest control industry,” said Rupert Broome, on behalf of Killgerm Group. “He is just the nicest guy, and he also founded the most fantastic operation in Scandinavia. We will miss his dedication and passion for the business, but we are also very excited to hear what Nilsson decides to do now that he is retired. On the behalf of us all at Killgerm Group I want to thank Nilsson for everything he has done for the business and wish him every happiness for the future.”
