CLEVELAND - PestMaster Services announced the appointment of Bryan Shamhart as brand president, effective Nov. 3. Shamhart succeeds Brett Shraiar and will oversee franchisee support, brand growth and operational performance across the company’s nationwide system.
Shamhart brings 16 years of pest control industry experience to the role. He began his career in 2009 with Orkin in Cleveland, where he held multiple leadership positions overseeing people and office management, profit growth, staffing expansion, employee development and customer service initiatives.
Shamhart joined PestMaster in 2024 as director of corporate systems and franchisee support, initially tasked with developing systems to better serve franchise owners. His responsibilities soon expanded to include oversight of the company’s five corporate store locations and support of pest control initiatives at the brand level.
“As brand president, my focus is on building strong relationships with franchisees, maintaining a high-performing support team and helping owners grow profitable, sustainable businesses,” Shamhart said. “Our goal is to provide the tools, expertise and guidance franchisees need to succeed.”
In his new role, Shamhart will oversee marketing, technical, business and financial support teams that serve PestMaster franchisees. He will also lead efforts to strengthen systems, enhance training and identify growth opportunities across the brand.
PestMaster, which has provided pest management, rodent control, vegetation management and wildlife removal and exclusion services for more than 40 years, operates more than 60 units nationwide. Shamhart said franchising offers pest control operators an opportunity to grow with the backing of an established support system while maintaining local business ownership.
Based in the Cleveland area, Shamhart lives with his wife of nearly 30 years and is the father of two adult children and grandfather of three. He is an avid Ohio sports fan and enjoys bowling. In addition to his corporate role, he is also the owner of two PestMaster locations in Ohio.
