GooseChase from Bird-X, Inc., is a safe, food-grade taste aversion agent to prevent Canada Geese and other waterfowl from damaging grass and other landscaped property. Made from a bitter, malodorous part of concord grapes (active ingredient methyl anthranilate), GooseChase renders treated areas inedible for waterfowl. Because they cannot habituate to the taste, the geese leave for better food sources. GooseChase is environmentally safe, non-lethal, biodegradable and an FDA “Generally Recognized As Safe” (GRAS) compound.
