TUCSON, Ariz. – Truly Nolen Pest Control recently announced the promotion of Shon Hodges to business manager of the company’s Tucson and Southern Arizona service offices, Sam Huggins to manager of the company’s Sierra Vista, Ariz., service office and Jason McFarland to business manager of the company’s following Florida officers: Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs and Collier County.
Hodges joined the company in July 2017 and had most recently been manager of the Sierra Valley service office since 2018. Prior to joining Truly Nolen, Hodges was in the consumer electronics industry for almost 20 years with 17 of those years as a store manager and district manager for Radio Shack. He attended Cochise College in Sierra Vista, Ariz.
“I am looking forward to collaborating with our Southern Arizona team regarding the growth of their service offices and being able to assist them in their professional growth,” said Hodges. “My favorite thing about working for Truly Nolen is our culture, which has been in place since well before I started here and is unlike any other company I have ever worked for.”
Huggins, who has nearly 20 years of experience in the pest control industry, joined the company in May 2018 and managed multiple service offices in Phoenix for nearly five years. Prior to joining Truly Nolen, Huggins was the service office manager for American Pest Management in Fairbanks, Alaska. He earned an associate degree in business management from High Tech Institute.
Some of Huggins’ new responsibilities will include helping the service office gain more visibility with the local Sierra Vista community as well as instilling the company’s core values throughout his team.
“Sam did a great job these last five years up the road in Phoenix, and his two decades of experience plus ability to have success at multiple locations of ours made him an easy choice for this Sierra Vista opportunity,” said Desi Rodriguez, district manager, Tucson and Southern Arizona. “I am happy he is part of our team and look forward to his continued success.”
“My entire career has been on the technical/service side of the industry, and his new role will allow me to explore the business side and continue my professional growth so I can become a more well-rounded asset to the company,” said McFarland. “My favorite thing about working for Truly Nolen is and always will be the culture. In all my years in the pest control industry, I have never worked for a company that is as supportive and encouraging of each other; It really seems as if the company is just as invested in my career development as I am.”
