COLUMBIA, S.C. — Modern Exterminating completed the purchase of Carolina Pest Control last week. Carolina Pest Control is based out of Irmo, S.C., and has been in business for approximately 30 years. Once owned by the Mungo family, Carolina Pest Control exclusively did termite pre-treatments for Mungo Homes at one time, then continued to grow and expand in the pest control industry.

This is the second company purchase for Modern Exterminating in the past three months.
