The City of New Orleans Mosquito, Termite, and Rodent Control Board and The Louisiana Mosquito Control Association are pleased to announce the 8th Annual Mosquito Academy, which will be held from March 31 - April 2.
The Academy will include comprehensive classroom, laboratory, and field instruction on mosquito biology and control, forest and urban surveillance methods, pesticide rules and regulations, mosquito-borne diseases, and insecticide resistance monitoring, among other topics. The Academy is limited to 30 seats.
The groups also are offering the 2nd Annual Advanced Mosquito Identification Workshop on Friday, April 3. This is a stand-alone workshop that requires additional fees and a separate payment.
