COLUMBUS, Ohio — TORCO announced it has acquired Wright's Termite and Pest Control of Columbus, Ohio.
Wright's was a general termite and pest control firm that had more than three decades of experience. It was founded by Ed Wright, who worked for years with Orkin and then Terminix prior to launching his own firm.
"The merger is a perfect fir for TORCO, which is aggressively pursuing small companies and operators who want to sell or merger their companies with a a growing firm," said John Breen, president of TORCO. "We are focusing on the small guys throughout Ohio right now. We want to build on the synergy that results from good relationships and growth. By next year, we hope to expand into surrounding sites."
TORCO's history dates back to 1900. The current management team were former long-term owners of a Terminix franchise.
